During its annual celebration on April 24, 2026, Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation will present Eric Seacrest with its “Above & Beyond Award” for his extraordinary contributions as Executive Director of the Community Foundation, along with his support of many community causes and organizations over the years.
Seacrest was appointed Executive Director in 2001. Under his leadership, the Community Foundation has grown to over $50 million in assets, and has distributed over $25 million in charitable grants and scholarships since it's inception in 1978. The number of funds administered by the Community Foundation under Seacrest’s leadership has increased from 92 to 350.
Eric has gone far “Above and Beyond” in working to help make good things happen in the North Platte region. He often speaks before the City Council, County Commission, and Nebraska Highway Commission, and is involved in many organizations around the region.
