Iron Horse Lake Trail Improvement Project
The North Platte Trails Network is currently raising funds to make improvements to the Iron Horse Lake Trail located south of Interstate 80, on the east side of Highway 83, adjacent to the 20th Century Veterans Memorial and Iron Horse Park. The short, off road trail makes a scenic 0.82 mile loop around Iron Horse Lake and connects to the Halligan/Canal Trail, an additional 3.1 miles.
