The Shackley Scholarship is awarded twice a year. This scholarship is for residents of School District. 81-R in Custer/Dawson County.
Apply August 15 - October 31
This scholarship is a legacy of John & Diane Poehling and their interest in hunting, fishing, wildlife conservation and wildlife education. Eligibility Requirements:
- resident of Nebraska
- background in hunting, fishing, wildlife conservation and/or wildlife education
- college sophomore or higher at time of application
- cumulative GPA >=3.0
- Award may be used at any accredited NEBRASKA college for the 2025--2026 school year
