North Platte Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event during which donors specify which participating local nonprofits to help and how much to give. Donors will be able to make contributions online or at local Giving Sites.
The 2024 North Platte Giving Day is Wednesday, May 8th, ending at midnight Central Time. Early Giving begins on April 25th. Click HERE to go to the Giving Day site to make your donation.
North Platte Giving Day is the BEST Time to Help Community Causes! Donors can help their favorite nonprofits win cash prizes and earn matching prizes just by donating.
100% of each Giving Day donation goes to donor-selected nonprofits. Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation and an anonymous donor covers all donation processing and campaign costs.
Anyone with a credit card or debit card and access to the internet can participate can donate with a minimum donation of $10. Or donors can deliver or mail checks to Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation, 121 North Dewey St., Suite 112, PO Box 1321, North Platte, NE 69103.
All donations are fully tax-deductible. Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, will disburse donations to the nonprofit organizations specified by donors.
Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation will provide an electronic receipt at the time of each online donation via email. The receipt you receive is a record of your donation for tax purposes. You may want to print the receipt for your files.
